Lisa Litner, LICSW

From a young age, I envisioned myself in the role of helping others navigate difficult periods. As I got older, this vision began to materialize as I went on to study psychology in college and pursue an MSW in graduate school at Boston College. Since then I have been afforded with a variety of different therapeutic opportunities including work at college counseling centers, schools, special education settings, social skills programs, etc. From there, I have worked in the private practice setting, seeing both individuals and groups for therapy.

Clinical experience:

After earning a masters in clinical social work from Boston College, I have had 15+ years of experience working with individuals, groups, couples, and families in a variety of different settings. These include schools, college counseling centers, social skills group programs, and a therapy practice. I regularly attend  trainings and continuing education programs on a variety of topics related to mental health.
